Spice Storage Ideas

So I have seen recently that a lot of people, (especially full time caravanners/Rv) having trouble with storage, even with small items like spices and herbs. It can be difficult with limited space; jars being tossed around during travelling, and of course the dreaded weight of glass, and heavy storage shelves. So I did a little research and found a few items that might make life a little easier for those budding travelling chefs amongst us.

The biggest problem is having glass jars that fall out of cupboards, or tumble out of their relatively small shelf space and break or smash. Also, most people do not like the idea of drilling into our Rv walls to fix a shelf or rack to the wall.

The first option I found, was a light weight acrylic shelf that is deep and can be either screwed into wall, or better still using adhesive tape. These shelves come in different sizes, depending on your needs, and can fixed to walls or even the inside of your cupboard doors. Win win situation for me, as I only have a smaller Caravan, but go on long trips and am a bit of a spice freak, so can’t do without all the seasoning everyone loves. For those whom might not have space for shelves, these awesome spice bags are a must. They are reusable, sealable and are extremely light weight. They can be labeled and placed in any basket, container or draw. If used with the above shelves, they are perfect set for all your spice and dry goods needs. Simply fill them up, place in desired location, and all your favorite seasonings are fresh and on hand. Also possible to use in fridge for your fresh herbs too. Ideas are endless. Finally, my favorite, as I love the black and I use these a lot in my actual home base, and in my Caravan. They are easy to install, light weight, stylish and can be used on most wall surfaces. They are deep in the shelf, and large enough to hold most spice jars (even the bigger ones), tea towels, mugs, oil bottles, or even use in the bathroom as they were originally designed. Give them ago, and I’m sure you will find multiple uses for them, just as I have. Click the pictures to order yours now.
